"If they can't learn the way we teach,
we teach the way they learn..." - O. Ivar Lovaa
What is ABA?
ABA is an evidence-based practice focused on behavioral science, empirical research, and studies. This involves implementing functional analysis, assessment tools, and treatment interventions to improve overall developmental milestones in various environments.
Why ABA at Components of Therapy?
We believe every child is unique, just like a butterfly. Therefore, their treatment should reflect their individual needs and provide meaningful behavior changes that improve their quality of life in the home, school, and community.
Our team consists of BACB, Behavior Specialists, and RBTs who undergo intensive Applied Behavior Analysis training and are experienced with various populations with intellectual disabilities. We are aware of cultural diversity and incorporate our teaching with outpatient treatment through community outreach, natural teaching settings, and social groups.
